Grading: At the end, each of your pages should have 12 entries, one for each section. They will graded in 3 rounds (4 blog sections to each round). Once the teacher closes out and grades a round, you will not be allowed to go back and make changes to those blogs.

Your Main Blog, your GOLDEN LINE page, and your VOCAB page will be assessed with a √+, √, or √-. The points will then be averaged and scaled to fit the category. For example, all √+’s on your main blog points would earn you full credit (100 pts), but would go in the gradebook as 50 out of 50. Full credit on the Vocab would go in as 10 out 10 on a quiz grade.

√ = B (80)
√- = D (60)
Nonexistent, incomplete, or fragmentary blog posts will earn 0 points. Once the teacher closes out and grades a round, you will not be allowed to go back and make changes to those blogs.
- Your MAIN BLOG will go into the gradebook as a TEST grade for 150 pts. It will be entered in three separate rounds of 50 each (Chapters 1-4, chapters 5-8, & chapters 9-12).
- Your GOLDEN LINE page will go into the gradebook as a CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES grade for 30 points. Like the above, it will go in three times, 10 for each round.
- Your VOCAB page will go into the gradebook as three vocab QUIZZES (10 quiz points each).
- Last but not least, you will be expected to post comments to your fellow students’ blogs. Those comments will go into the gradebook as a CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES grade for 30 points. You must comment at least 30 times on different people’s blogs; each (relevant) post will be worth 1 point. Relevant posts move the conversation forward through agreement or argument; non-relevant posts distract from the discussion. You can either:
